Unidentified Flying Object or UFO (in circle) recorded in KL Tower airspace on last
Tuesday. -- The news from Kosmo on 18th January, 2011 (today) was translated by me- I'm sorry if the translation was bad.
This seriously surprised and gorgeous news I got from Kosmo, today. The headline is "UFO lawat Menara KL?" or I just translated to "UFO visited KL Tower?" in this blog.
This was what I got from the news report:
It was actually watched by a senior supervisor of a construction project, Abdul Jalil Ibrahim, 50, at 7.46a.m., on last Tuesday, while he was recording the sky scenery from level 51 of a building which was still in progressing next to a hotel in Jalan Ampang (Ampang Road) using his friend's mobile phone.
He told the reporter that, at first, he was not conscious of the weird object resembled the UFO in his record, but then, after four days, his colleague told him there had a weird thing in the picture he recorded with his friend's mobile phone.
He told the Kosmo! reporter, when he looked carefully, he surprised seeing a weird object in the form of saucer and oval with black colour at the airspace of Kuala Lumpur Tower (Menara KL).
Nevertheless, he could not confirm what the object was even though the distance between the construction site and KL Tower (Menara KL) only 1km.
He also told that he worked at the height of 300 meter above the sea level and the distance to KL Tower is not quite far (1km). "I could see it clearly either it was an aircraft or not, but the form of the object looked like a UFO", he clarified.
According to him, he had been working there over 2 years, and it was the first time he got to record the weird object unintentionally.
In the meantime, the lecturer of Astrology and Atmosphere Science Research at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM - Malaysian Science University), Associate Prof. Chong Hon Yen when asked to comment on the incident, emphasized that the recorded flying object was genuine. However it is not easy to ensure that the flying object was a UFO because the recorded picture was not enough.
P/S: About the word "record" I used in my translation means "rakam" in Malay, just translated from the newspaper. But, I think the reporter meant "he had taken the still picture", but if the reporter wanted to say "he took the photograph/picture", he should use the word "menangkap gambar" or in English "taking the photograph/picture", because in Malay the word "rakam" normally used for "recording" (the video or music). So, sometimes, it quite confusing reading some reporters' reports because they try to avoid the use of the word "menangkap gambar/mengambil gambar" in Malay for taking a photograph/picture, maybe due to perception that the word does not have a good sound. Luckily, that above news have a word "gambar" (picture). So, I believe the reporter meant the still picture not a video. Thanks.
sebenarnya, yg tu gambar burung walid. -__-
